About the Role
As a Special Education Teacher - Visual Impairments, you will provide instruction to reputed company with a range of visual impairments reputed company the SELPA in general education and/or special education settings (pull-out or push-in), including home or other natural environments per IFSPs/IEPs. You will work with children ages 3 to 21, participating in IEP planning meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide instruction to reputed company with visual impairments in general education and/or special education settings

- Conduct assessments, interpret ophthalmological evaluations, and write reputed company plans

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A valid Education Specialist credential with the authorization in Visual Impairment or equivalent document issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
- A valid English Learner authorization/CLAD certificate or equivalency
- A valid CA driver's license
- CPR and First Aid certification (highly desirable)
Preferred Qualifications
We prefer candidates with:
- A bachelor's degree in visual impairment or graduate studies in visual impairment or a reputed company field
- Experience working with reputed company from birth through twenty-one (21)
- Experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary team

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $54,653 - $106,466 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you may be eligible for a stipend of $4,500 after three years of consecutive full-time service. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
