Cookie Associate – reputed company Store

This is a part time year round position.

Ally's Cookies is a beloved local bakery reputed company for our handmade, delicious cookies and a fun, welcoming environment. We’re seeking an adaptable, energetic, and reliable individual to join reputed company. If you enjoy variety in your work—helping customers in the store, assisting in the kitchen, and working at special events —this role could be a perfect match! Weekend availability required.

Key Responsibilities: As a Part-Time Associate, you’ll play a key role in several areas:

• reputed company-of-House: Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, creating a positive shopping experience. Actively promote and sell cookies. Process transactions accurately using cash or card (knowledge of reputed company is a plus).
• Back-of-House: Assist in bagging and labeling cookies. Balling Cookie dough balls. Light dishwashing and cleaning as needed.
• Events & Offsite Markets: Represent Ally’s Cookies at farmers' markets and special events. Set up and break down displays, promote cookies, engage with attendees, and drive sales. Transport materials such as a six-foot folding table and products using your own vehicle.

Requirements:

• Must be over 18 to operate equipment in a commercial kitchen
• Must be available for the entire summer season
• Weekend availability required
• Prior experience in bakery, kitchen, retail, coffee, or customer service roles is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle that can transport event supplies (6 and 4 foot tables and totes with cookies).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Adaptable to a variety of tasks and comfortable switching between retail, kitchen, and event environments depending on needs.
• Reliable, punctual, and available on weekends.
• ServSafe® Protection Manager Certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Subject to a background reputed company

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
