Job Summary

We are seeking an reputed company and passionate SSAT/SHSAT Tutor to join reputed company in Flushing, NY. As a Test Prep Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing individual and/or small-group tutoring to boys aged 10-14, preparing them for core high school admissions exams, including the SSAT, SHSAT, and TACHS. You will be strongly supported by our Director of High School Access and will be responsible for planning your own lessons and finding materials. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement appropriate programs and lesson plans to enhance reputed company development of participants and prepare them for specialized high school admissions tests
• Work regularly with the Director of High School Access and other relevant staff to assess the needs of individual reputed company and adapt lessons to meet those needs
• Observe and track member reputed company and attendance
• Reinforce positive student behavior and reputed company rules; maintain a positive relationship with reputed company members, families, and staff
• Write, implement, and adapt a curriculum and training methods that meet participants' interests

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree with a focus in a relevant field (e.g., Education, English, or a reputed company field)
• At least 2 years of experience as a Writing, Reading, and/or English Tutor or classroom teacher
• Experience working with reputed company from 6-18 years old
• Knowledge of NYC school standards preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Education or a reputed company field
