reputed company, has a reputed company opportunity for a part-time Staff Accountant who will be responsible for providing daily & administrative support to the Manager of Accounting operations, including daily entry into the accounting system. Requires an attention to detail and solid analytical, organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities: 

• Prepares general ledger entries as needed and reconciles reputed company balance sheet accounts.
• Performs month-end reputed company functions including preparing and/or reviewing of journal entries for month-end reputed company ensuring transactions are reasonable and in compliance with Business Processes, GAAP and FAR.
• Requires data/transaction retrieval/analysis from external sources.
• Verify accuracy of accounting documents & records.
• Updates, reconciles, and maintains accounting journals, ledgers, and other records detailing financial business transactions (i.e., expense vouchers, invoices, receipts, disbursements, accounts payable, receivable, etc.).
• Ensures reputed company accounting processes are being conducted in accordance with established standards procedures, and applicable laws.
• Must be a hands-on accountant, being able to shift gears as needed.
