It's an exciting, fast paced floor that provides excellent learning opportunities for new RNs. If you join our AMAZING team you will have the opportunity care for a diverse reputed company of patients and provide patient education, collaborate with the social worker, pharmacist, registered dieticians, PT / OT, and the physicians. In addition to that you will be able assist the patients themselves to reputed company them to handle their health care needs at home. We see patients with pneumonia, diabetes, opioid addiction, thrombus, PE, A-fib, chest pain, and the list goes on. Our highly skilled nurses monitor patients on insulin, heparin, and other cardiac gtts, chest tubes, trachs, and wound vacs just to name a few and work with a fun, engaged, knowledgeable group of nurses. Major Responsibilities : Uses the nursing process to assess the needs of the patient, plan and implement individualized interventions and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care. Includes the patient and family in planning and implementing care and develops and maintains a therapeutic relationship throughout the healthcare continuum. Anticipates and recognizes significant changes in the patient's condition, status, and need for care. Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required : Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the reputed company (AHA). Education Required : Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing. Experience Required : Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
