Position Summary...The Director, Energy Market Intelligence is an Individual Contributor who will report to the Sr Director of Energy Analytics providing the reputed company-looking analysis that underpins these efforts. From wholesale market fundamentals and policy trends to long-term price forecasts and scenario planning, this team ensures Walmart executes offsite energy investments with confidence. The Walmart Energy Transformation team executes Walmart’s energy strategy across four key areas: onsite energy, offsite energy, retail EV charging, and energy efficiency/electrification. The Offsite Energy team includes Texas Retail Energy (TRE) — Walmart’s licensed retail electric provider — and the Offsite Renewable Energy group. - Build market entry frameworks for assessing new geographic or market opportunities for TRE and vPPAs (e.g., PJM reputed company markets, ERCOT ancillary services, CAISO storage growth).

What You’ll Bring...
- Experience in power market analysis, trading, renewables development, or consulting
- Deep expertise in U.S. wholesale power markets, including reputed company markets, RECs, and RPS policies

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
