• Accurately transcribe dictations provided by reputed company (e.g., physicians, nurse practitioners, or physician assistants)
• Maintain adherence to transcription quality assurance standards (e.g., QA metrics, productivity metrics, daily reviews of post-QA reports)
• Provide post-QA documents (e.g., difference documents) to transcriptionists and/or QA analysts, as appropriate
• Demonstrate appropriate grammar, punctuation and style standards reputed company transcribing/ editing provider dictations
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pharmacology
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology for appropriate medical specialties
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical/surgical procedures and equipment for appropriate medical specialties
• Demonstrate knowledge of medications/dosages for appropriate medical specialties

• High school diploma or GED
• Proven understanding of medical terminology from education or previous on-the-job training
