The Role: Entry Level Automotive Technician

As an Entry Level Automotive Technician at Goodyear, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and performing basic automotive services. This is an entry-level position that requires no prior experience, and we'll provide comprehensive training to ensure your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic automotive services, including oil changes, tire mounting and balancing, and preventative maintenance
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify problems or needed repairs
• Develop skills and knowledge to perform additional automotive services, such as tire repairs and filter replacements
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers
• Work collaboratively with other technicians and team members to achieve shared goals
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and at least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions
• Commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry
• Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or formal automotive training
