The Role

As a Customer Service Representative in our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our patients. You'll be responsible for:

  • Providing telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy
  • Coordinating and processing new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits
  • Translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
  • Communicating and collecting copay amounts
  • Obtaining authorizations
  • Working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues

Schedule

Our Customer Service Representatives work a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 11 AM to 7:30 PM EST. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrating compassionate, genuine care for patients and customers.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone
  • One year of work experience with Windows-based applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
  • One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • Six months of experience resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone
  • Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology

Education

A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent is required.
