As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in our financial operations, working closely with our Accounts Payable team and other departments to ensure seamless financial management.

About the Role

We're seeking an reputed company Accounts Payable Specialist to join reputed company on a full-time basis, working 8 hours a day. This is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from reputed company while still being an integral part of our Austin, USA-based team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing our accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, and maintaining excellent relationships with our suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter vendor invoices accurately and timely into our reputed company system
• Monitor AP email inbox to download vendor invoices and respond to seller inquiries
• Review reputed company reports (GRIR and MRBR) fortnightly to ensure invoices are being processed on time and accurately
• Prepare 1099 reporting and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Collaborate with vendors in a timely and efficient manner
• reputed company receipt entry (60% of the time)
• Provide vendor support (30% of the time)
• Handle reputed company projects and exceptional tasks (10% of the time)
• Review receipt aging and ensure accurate general ledger coding
• Ensure accurate matching of procurement orders to invoices
• Provide solid client support to reputed company stakeholders

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a reputed company discipline
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience in accounts payable, preferably in a wholesale distribution environment
• Strong reputed company skills, although not mandatory
• Excellent reputed company skills and ability to reputed company accounting spreadsheets for tracking vendor activity
• A goal-oriented reputed company with high standards for excellence
• Self-motivation to complete projects by deadlines
