Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our DHL Same Day team. As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will work closely with our pricing team to develop and implement pricing structures for prospective clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the outreach team to support the RFP process and develop pricing structures for prospective DHL Same Day clients
- Align with internal organization operations and procurement to respond to custom solutions in a timely manner
- Analyze shipment volume and revenue to determine the effectiveness and profitability of pricing structures
- Develop tailored solutions to fit client needs and drive high margins
- Assist in setting overall rates and rules for sales teams to use in setting rates for individual clients
- Understand airline costing tables and challenge/question when necessary
- Develop and maintain tools to support general estimating efforts
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders and clients
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance preferred
- Related experience in transportation/logistics or a related field, or experience working in a data/financial analysis role supporting pricing proposals and rate structures
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with a focus on deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a logistics or supply chain management role
- Familiarity with pricing and revenue management principles
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM)
