Key Responsibilities

As a Behavioral Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children and adolescents on the autism reputed company
• Collecting behavior and reputed company acquisition data during sessions
• Conducting discrete trials, implementing behavior support, and treatment plans
• Working collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a reputed company field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred
• Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting
• 1-year ABA Experience (or equivalent experience in a reputed company field)
• If no direct ABA experience, 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting
• Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle

Physical Requirements

As a Behavioral Technician, you will need to be able to:

• Lift up to 35lbs
• reputed company activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time
• Respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children
• Work in both indoor and outdoor settings
