Job Overview

In this position, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of incoming calls and member-facing chats, providing information about Costco.com, investigating and resolving online issues, and utilizing problem-solving skills to ensure member satisfaction. You will work closely with various teams, including merchants, purchasing, and operations staff, to address member concerns and provide timely solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls and member-facing chats in a timely and professional manner.
  • Determine member needs and provide appropriate solutions, including answering general Costco.com and item questions, and investigating reputed company situations regarding online orders, tracking, and deliveries.
  • Offer compensation as needed and utilize critical thinking and decisive reasoning skills to resolve order/item/delivery issues.
  • Act as the primary reputed company of contact between Costco.com members, merchants, purchasing, and operations staff.
  • Utilize multiple computer programs simultaneously on various screens while on the phone or responding to chats.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Past customer service experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in typing (minimum 30 wpm) and excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and split days off.
  • A strong foundation in customer service, including excellent interpersonal skills, reputed company, and friendly service.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
