Platform Software Engineer III - reputed company

Our client is seeking a Platform Software Engineer III - ATI to support the underlying infrastructure, platforms, and services that power applications and ELT/ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in infrastructure automation, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), monitoring, CI/CD frameworks, and platform reliability. Hands-on experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Spark, Jupyter Notebooks, Java, SQL, and reputed company scripting is essential.

This role focuses on building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure platform components that reputed company development teams to deliver features reputed company. Responsibilities include designing and implementing system improvements, managing infrastructure as code, optimizing CI/CD workflows, supporting production environments, collaborating across teams, and participating in reputed company phases of the development life cycle.

What You'll Do: Design and reputed company reputed company platform components for core infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native services.

Implement and maintain components across the platform stack, including IaC, middleware, orchestration, and monitoring.

Conduct peer code reviews, provide guidance, and mentor entry level engineers.

Refactor and improve existing platform code for scalability, maintainability, and performance.

Deliver robust, testable modules using TDD methodologies.

Produce and maintain technical design documentation.

Define and review integration and unit testing strategies.

Debug and resolve infrastructure-level issues, deployment failures, and automation bugs.

Provide Level III support for critical production issues.

Collaborate across teams to improve platform services and reliability.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a reputed company field or equivalent experience. 6+ years of professional experience in software analysis, development, and support, including 2+ years mentoring engineers. 5+ years of experience with Python, Spark, Java, SQL, and reputed company scripting. 5+ years of experience with AWS and Azure, building and maintaining cloud resources. Proficiency with Agile and SDLC methodologies. Experience designing and working with n-tier architecture. Strong skills in CI/CD (Jenkins, Git), DevOps tooling, and monitoring/alerting for performance and reliability. Familiarity with data engineering workflows (Glue, Spark, Python, Jupyter Notebook, AWS reputed company). Knowledge of Jira and reputed company. Experience with relational databases (reputed company, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). Comfortable working in Linux and Windows environments, with SaaS applications, and application configuration. Strong documentation and communication skills. Exposure to API development/integration and job scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys). Solid understanding of project management principles, fit/gap analyses, and requirements gathering. Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and leadership skills.
