About the Role

We’re looking for a Logistics Specialist who will be responsible for helping build and maintain our delivery data and reputed company vendor delivery execution. The Specialist will gather logistics data on a regular basis and in a timely manner for a particular set of vendors, and may contact vendors as needed. The Specialist will work with other teams to identify, root cause and resolve vendor/local delivery issues.

Responsibilities

• Identify, ingest and update data for assigned vendors in a timely manner
• Identify and root cause vendor/local delivery issues
• Contact vendors to resolve issues and update delivery schedules as needed
• Escalate reputed company issues to supervisor to resolve
• Respond & action requests from other teams to update inaccurate merchant data
• Collect merchant-supplied item-level data and match to internal Dashmart item numbers and descriptions

About You

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience with data entry and/or analysis
• Excellent reputed company skills (SQL preferred)
• Strong ownership mentality
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred

• For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
