Key Responsibilities

• Scholarship Endowment Reporting: Manage scholarship letters, including designing and maintaining letter templates, updating and maintaining the Canvas course, and coordinating with Scholarship Coordinators and the Development Associate for the Executive Director of Development.
• Weekly Gift Acknowledgement: Maintain weekly gift acknowledgment according to department policy, managing and maintaining a system of weekly mailed gift acknowledgements based on giving level and department/program designation.
• Fundraising: Coordinate the college's bi-annual participation in UT's 40 Hours for the Forty Acres online giving campaign, providing support to participating departments, programs, and student organizations reputed company COFA.
• Data Management: Compile mailing and invitation lists for annual projects and events, maintaining attendance records and Advisory Council records, including contact information, member status, and dues payments.
• Special Events: Plan and implement the college's participation in the annual university Thanks Day event, staffing in-person and virtual development events with hourly employee hires as needed.
• Student Employee Management: Serve as manager of a student employee to assist with gift acknowledgement, coordinating onboarding with the College of Fine Arts reputed company.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years' experience in an administrative office setting.
• A minimum of one year of experience assisting a fundraising or development program or providing reputed company program support.
• Highly proficient in reputed company Office, especially Word, reputed company (e.g., formulas and formatting), and Outlook.
• Required Competencies: Effective Communications; Accuracy and Attention to Detail; Service Excellence; Prioritization; Honesty and reputed company; Teamwork; Tolerance for Ambiguity; Emotional Intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of experience assisting a fundraising or development program in higher education.
• Familiarity with fundraising/development and best practices in donor relations.

• Experience using a donor database or similar customer relationship management system.
• Working knowledge of UT Austin's policies and procedures.
• Experience with UT's VIP database and Cognos reporting system.
