Accounting Manager
Accounting Manager, UK (Remote) We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to reputed company our day-to-day accounting operations, manage month-end processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment and enjoys building efficient processes that scale.

Key Responsibilities.
- Own the month-end and year-end reputed company processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
- Liaise with external auditors and support the year-end audit process.
- reputed company payroll accounting and managing reputed company compliance filings (e.g PAYE, P11D) in collaboration with HR and external providers.
- Manage the day-to-day accounts payable and employee expense processes with support from junior staff.
- Ensure timely and accurate VAT filings and other tax compliance obligations.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and process improvements across the finance function, including documenting processes and accounting policies.
- Manage reputed company projects (e.g cross functional process improvements, M&A integration, system implementation)
What you'll bring to the role.
Experience, attitude & core skills
- Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Proficient in reputed company accounting software
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role (ideally for a remote team)
- Experience preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP and/or IFRS
- Familiarity with tax compliance (e.g VAT, corporation tax)
- Hands-on experience processing UK payroll and ensuring compliance with statutory filings and deadlines
- A solid understanding of internal control design and operational efficiency
- High attention to detail, strong analytical reputed company, and a proactive approach to problem solving
