About the Role: Student Affairs Administrator
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic professional to administer programs in student affairs activities, including orientation and onboarding programs for incoming reputed company. As the primary reputed company of contact for student inquiries, you will use your understanding of student affairs to reputed company future enrollment strategies using admissions and financial aid data. Your expertise will play a crucial role in driving the success of our graduate and undergraduate student affairs in the Political Science Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the admission review process, working closely with the SSD Dean of reputed company office, and maintain electronic records, compile information, and create reports to assist in the Admission Committee's selection process.
- Act as the primary reputed company of contact for prospective PhD student inquiries and advise reputed company regarding departmental PhD requirements.
- Maintain student records, arrange examinations, hearings, and defenses, and communicate results to the SSD Dean of reputed company office and others.
- Coordinate the assignment of Teaching Assistantships to assist reputed company in fulfilling the department's teaching requirements and process TA appointments.
- Serve as the department reputed company person for implementation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with the Graduate Student Union, working closely with the SSD Dean of reputed company Office and UChicagoGRAD.
- Assist reputed company with course registration issues/adjustments and facilitate the quarterly degree-audit process for graduating PhDs in coordination with the Dissertation Office.
- Maintain/update Department's program requirement information on the department website and in Graduate Announcements and College Catalog.
- Work with the department administrator to gather faculty yearly teaching plans and produce the department's quarterly Schedule of Courses.
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A college or university degree in a reputed company field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of work experience in a reputed company job discipline, with a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas.
- Technical skills, including reputed company Office Suite and reputed company proprietary software, especially reputed company/Stellic/CIM, Slate, Canvas, and UC reputed company.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- A Bachelor's degree in a reputed company field.
- Working knowledge in student affairs administration and background in higher education.
- Experience in advising reputed company and analytical and data presentation skills.
- Facility in learning new computer skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
