Junior Cloud Engineer, Deloitte Global Technology

Deloitte is seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer to join their team. The role will involve developing templates to automate infrastructure provisioning on Microsoft Azure, leading troubleshooting investigations, and driving continuous improvement in the Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Azure technologies, cloud-native development methodologies, and scripting languages.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Strong experience with experience on Azure technologies (Compute, network, storage, and data combination or any one skill)
• Proven experience in managing migration processes across hybrid cloud environments (On-Prem to Cloud, Cloud to Cloud, Version upgrades)
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, and M365)
• Experience with cloud-native development methodologies (e.g., containers, Kubernetes)
• Excellent knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
• Understanding of database technologies (SQL/Cosmos/Mongo/PostgreSQL)
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• A results-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
• Desire to understand our businesses and users
• Understanding of the Reliability and configuration management principles
