Vivi is currently seeking a leave replacement for a 6–12-month placement.
The purpose of this role is to support the technical aspects of the sales process by being the conduit between sales, global engineering and support teams. You will be the technology and product expert in the team with extensive knowledge of the Vivi product, itsfeatures, and the environments in which it runs. You will be the expert at setting up the Vivi product and configuring it reputed company our customers’ environments. You will assist the sales team and the wider business in responding to RFPs and completing any technical documentation required by customers. You will guide evaluating customers through the onboarding process and continue to support them until you consider them to be in a mature and stable position and ready to be handed over to Vivi’s global support team.This role is 100% remote, with up to 30% travel reputed company the region.
Responsibilities:
- The main regional reputed company of contact for technical questions reputed company the sales team
- Liaising with the global engineering and support teams to solve problems as they arise
- Gathering customer requirements
- Supporting customers through the evaluation and onboarding process
- Configuring Vivi reputed company customer environments
- Advising customers on how to best configure their environments to work with Vivi
- Assist with responding to RFI’s and RFP’s
- Completing technical documentation required by customers
- Competitor research
- Technical guidance for salespeople in pre-sales meetings and possible demos (virtual and in-person)
- Keeping the sales team up to date with technology
- Developing and documenting implementation plans and best practices
Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar technical role
- Experience of working reputed company commercial sales team
- Demonstratable experience of working with wired networking technology including switch and firewall configuration and troubleshooting
- Demonstratable experience of working with wireless networking including wireless LAN configuration and troubleshooting
Highly Desirable Experience:
- reputed company Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred
- Experience working with the reputed company Suite (Jira Service Desk and Confluence)
- Experience of working with HDMI displays, projectors and interactive touch panels
- Knowledge of reputed company major desktop and mobile operating systems
- Knowledge of networking practices as applied in school environments
- Experience applying ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) methodologies
